What is Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)?

Firstly, Licorice is the dried rhizome and roots traditionally used by the Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, Indian, and Roman civilizations as stomach tonic and cough remedy. Besides, Greek physician, Dioscorides used licorice to treat people with stomach ulcers back in the first century AD.

What is GutGard®?

GutGard® is a clinically-researched licorice root extract which is natural and rich in flavonoids. It has less than 3.5% of glabridin and more than 10% of flavonoids. Besides, GutGard® contains more than 50 flavonoids, including isoflavans, isoflavones, isoflavaones and chalcones. In addition, to ensure the product’s safety, we deglycyrrhizinate it with glycyrrhizin <0.5%.

Besides, GutGard® is clinically studied to support Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) treatment. It also helps to relieve symptoms of daily gut health issues.
