Myrliq® myrhh extract
Commiphora myrrha Engl. a thorny tree found in North-Eastern Africa, Southern Arabia, Latin America and India. The gum resin extract from the trunk has been traditionally used in European, Arabian, Chinese & Indian natural medicine for its renowned pain-killing properties. MyrLiq is standardized to 4% total furanodienes.
Besides, Myrrh contains bioactive compounds furaneudesma-1,3-diene and curzerene with analgesic (pain-relieving) and anaesthetic (numbing effects). These compounds act on the opioid receptors in the central nervous system. These effects are dose-dependent and similar to the pain-relieving effects of morphine but without causing addiction.

Endophyllene® black pepper extract
Black pepper oil extract is rich in β-caryophyllene (BCP). Endophyllene® contains 30% BCP, a type of phytocannabinoid. Phytocannabinoids are a group of 60 natural plant compounds found in cannabis.. It acts on only CB-2 receptors in endocannabinoid system (ECS).
ECS is a cell-signaling system that controls physiological processes including pain sensation. Next, it contains 2 receptors, CB1 and CB2. The brain and central nervous system mainly contain CB1 receptors, which regulate mood, appetite, and pain sensation. Activating CB1 receptors changes mood and perception, causing feelings of euphoria and altered perception. Furthermore, 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis by activating CB1 receptors.
Besides, the immune system mainly contains the CB2 receptors, which regulates inflammation and immune responses. β-Caryophyllene in Endophyllene® black pepper extract selectively binds to cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2). It does not bind to the CB1 receptor in the central nervous system, so its action does not generate unwanted psychoactive effects.
